Dr. Bok Bolus

The Dr. Bok bolus offers a slowed release of allicin for approximately 21 days. Once administered, allicin is released from the bolus, absorbed into the bloodstream, and begins to take effect. Utrecht University (UU) has scientifically validated the antimicrobial benefits of this bolus. Dr. Bok products are classified as complementary animal feed.

One major advantage of the bolus is its ease of administration via a specialized bolus dispenser. Dairy farmers can administer it themselves, without requiring a veterinarian. Another key benefit is zero withdrawal time—milk and meat from a cow that has received the bolus can immediately enter the food chain, resulting in significant cost savings.

Allimax NF B.V. is the only company worldwide that produces and markets an effective allicin bolus. The product is GMP+ FSA certified, and is a reliable and high quality product, with verified antimicrobial properties that contribute to cattle welfare. The Dr. Bok bolus is available globally for the dairy farming industry.
